Seedance 2 Support in AutoWeeb is Coming Soon

We're bringing Seedance 2 to AutoWeeb. ByteDance's latest AI video model is the most capable we've tested for anime-style generation, and we're integrating it directly into our anime creation workflow.

This is the feature our community has asked for most: the ability to turn anime characters and scenes into actual animated video, not just static images.

Why Seedance 2

We've evaluated every major AI video model for anime generation over the past year. Most produce decent results for photorealistic content but struggle with anime's specific demands: clean line art, consistent character design, and stylized motion.

Seedance 2 stands apart for several reasons:

Character consistency — accepts reference images to maintain identity across clips
Style fidelity — generates clean anime-style output without drifting toward photorealism
Camera control — supports cinematic camera movements that anime relies on

How It Will Work in AutoWeeb

We're not just plugging Seedance 2 in as a raw API. We're building an anime-optimized workflow around it that connects to everything AutoWeeb already does.

Character Sheet to Video

You'll be able to use your existing AutoWeeb character sheets, the same ones you create with our Anime Character Creator, as reference inputs for Seedance 2 video generation. Your character's face, outfit, and style will carry over into animated clips automatically.

Style-Aware Generation

AutoWeeb supports multiple anime art styles: Ghibli, Cyberpunk, Slice of Life, Demon Slayer, and more. When you generate video, the system will use style-specific reference images and prompts to ensure the output matches your chosen aesthetic. No more generic "anime filter" results.

Animated Photo Packs

Photo Packs are already one of our most popular features. Imagine the same experience, but instead of static images, you get short animated clips of your character in each scenario. We're working on making this a reality.

What We're Working On

Integration is actively underway. Here's what's on the roadmap:

Image-to-video — animate existing AutoWeeb character images into short clips
Scene-to-video — generate animated sequences from scene builder compositions
Text-to-anime-video — describe a scene in text and get anime video output
Voiced clips — generate dialogue-driven scenes with synchronized lip movement
Multi-shot sequences — create short multi-clip narratives with persistent characters

We're rolling these out incrementally. Image-to-video will come first, followed by scene integration and audio features.
